In the expansive universe of avant-garde pop music, the celebrated Norwegian cult songwriter Vilde Tuv, stands out for her beautifully unfiltered live performances, where delicate and courageous flutes and vocals, fills the space with a captivating blend of energy and airiness. Her last two albums are unique adventures in melodic sensitivity and minimalist nuance. Tuv stands firmly on her own ground between genres like experimental folk, hardtrance and stoner-pop, with great authenticity and embodied expression. Fearlessly exploring new sonic territories, her work reflects a commitment to pushing creative boundaries and challenging musical norms. Composing for dance, film, and gallery spaces has been an evolving part of her practice in the recent years, running parallel to her primary artistic journey.

Vilde Tuv (f. 1986 NO) er artist, musikkprodusent, komponist og låtskriver. Etter det kritikerroste debutalbumet D ́meg (2016), hvor Tuv opptrådte landet rundt som et enkvinnesorkester med tromme og gitar, har Tuv tatt i bruk nye verktøy for å skape nye musikalske landskap. Hun vant Spellemann i kategorien Elektronika for andrealbumet Melting Songs (2021), hvor hun lot trance-inspirerte harmonier og disharmonier skinne gjennom blokkfløyte og synther. Samarbeid og komponering for danseforestillinger, film og gallerirom har de siste årene blitt en stadig viktigere del av hennes praksis.
